Now i bought two in just a few months span. · 2y · edited 2y. My reasoning is that i already load 5.56x45mm for my ar and always wanted to have a ak.

762x39 mm barrel length is 18. The bayonet is always a nice accent.

Only have about 2,500 rounds through it but it shows no signs of stress and seems to be holding up well. Not even close,,,, valmet (finns) galil (israel) and the south africans make a r4 , all these are much better made even more so than the russian ak 47, let alone anything china makes,, and are more similar , note the mak 90 is a akm ,,.

Norinco's seem to be the only real option after some extensive research. Not bad for something that's meant to be over $1000.

Sell it and buy 2 cheaper aks. The mak 90 is the most common norinco ak.

Norinco in 45 super i built a norinco into a 45 super over a decade ago for a back back gun while hunting. It had the stupid slide fire stock on it so that might be why the price is so low.

Norinco type 56 (ak47) history. Not bad for something that's meant to be over $1000. If it's an underfolder it's worth more, if it's not a norinco, but one of the other companies, like polytech or clayco, again, worth more.
